ProcrastinationBot: Ouverture Facile

If there's one thing I'm good at it's wasting time when I ought to be doing something productive. The only problem? I hate most internet games, mainly because they tend to be insipid bubble popping/jewelry arranging/color matching games for stupids.

Ouverture Facile, thankfully, isn't afraid to try some new things. Originally only in French (its name originally means "Easy Opening") Ouverture Facile has been translated into english and is ready to destroy your brain and any free time you may have.

Each level presents you with a scene that you can interact with and a clue. From there, it's up to you. OF requires the player to do a lot of thinking outside the box to solve its puzzles and will have you utilizing math skills, photoshop, hex editing, HTML and more. Don't be afraid if you aren't familiar with these things - the game only requires a basic knowledge of any of these skills. The real challenge is knowing when to employ these tools.

A warning right off the bat - you will get stuck. Just keep working at it and, in extreme situations, you can visit the OF forums for more clues, and you'll get it eventually. If you're anything like me the feeling of satisfaction you get when you finally find the right answer to a particularly hard level will drive you to repeat to yourself "just one more level" until you realize it's 4 in the morning, you're not going to get any sleep now and you haven't gotten a damn thing done.

Thanks, Ouverture Facile, you are truly a hero among procrastination tools.
